A bearing is basically an element in machine which allows relative type of motion into the desired level of motion. Thus it helps to reduce any sort of friction in between the moving part of a running machine. Presence of such bearings ensures that the movement which is linear in nature with the moving part or else for free nature of rotation occurred around an unchanged and permanent. Otherwise it can also prevent motion through control over the paths forces which are normal in nature on the moving parts of machine.

A friction among the moving parts to achieve the required level of motion is enabled by such bearing.  The classification of these bearings are majorly based on the its type of operation. There are 6 different types of bearing but two main types of bearing are ball bearing and rollers ball bearing.

Ball bearing rollers can only handle a small amount of weight. They are found in a wide application say for example a roller blade and a rolling bearing hard drive.

Spherical roller bearing
A spherical roller bearing permits rotation with low friction and also permits angular misalignment. It is basically with brass cage in a cut through view. The bearing design is to take allow radial loads and heavy axial loads in one directive. Typically, these bearing support a rotating shaft in the bore of the shaft washer that may be misaligned in respect to the house washer.

Spherical roller thrust bearing constitute of an inner ring and outer ring also. There is varies between different manufactures and different series. This roller thrust bearings have the highest load rating density of all thrust bearings.

Another type of bearing is Automobile bearing. These roll bearings inside the roller case are placed in the kingpin that support the vehicle. These are designed using advance technology and in compliance with the industry norms and standards. This is all depends on its Quality, durability and reliability.

The allocated place in automobile where the ball bearing is being placed or inserted is a special type of slot known as cage. A bearing moves around that slot or cage when the vehicle is in running condition. This function causes evenly distribution of vehicle load during the operations but that does not mean that those installed bearings can handle huge weight of vehicle. The function is to only distribute the load evenly.
