Paneer In White Gravy: An Instant Paneer Recipe

This instant paneer recipe is a sure shot treat for those who love to drowned paneer in tangy tomato gravy. Cream and milk along with the onion-cashew paste are used to make this recipe. Make sure that the paneer should be soft and fresh. If the paneer is rubbery then it won’t taste as expected.

Ingredients required to make paneer in white gravy
  • Paneer cubes (fresh cottage cheese) - 1 ½ cups
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cream - ½ tablespoon
  • Milk - ½ tablespoon
  • Salt - As per taste
For making a smooth paste
  • Onions (roughly chopped) - 1 cup
  • Cashew nuts (broken) - 1 cup
  • Garlic cloves - 6
The process to make paneer in white gravy

1) Take a deep kadhai and add ghee. Once the ghee is heated add the prepared paste and saute the paste for around 2 minutes on a medium flame.

2) Then add cream, garam masala, milk, cream, salt and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix them well and cook for around 2 to 3 minutes on the medium flame. Stir the mixture continuously.

3) Now, time is to add paneer along with ¼ cup of water. Mix them gently and further cook the mixture for 1 -2 minutes on medium flame. Stir continuously.

4) Once done, switch off the flame and move the mixture into a serving dish.

5) Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately with the choice of your bread.

6) Your instant paneer in white gravy is ready.
