Sweet Mango Raita - The Refreshing Buddy In Summer

Mango Raita is a tasty fusion recipe which could be simply made at home on any festival or event. It’s a yummy side dish recipe made using the mangoes, honey, saffron & yogurt. This dish is example of extravagant raita that would be loved by adults & kids alike. Mango, the king of fruits, is liked by everybody & here’s an easy dish which you could make with it. It could be distributed as a side dish for many chapatis, parathas & breads.

The aam raita is a classic Indian yogurt based relish, condiment or salad which is filling, refreshing & tasty. Mangoes are abundant from April to June that are the hottest months in India. In some homes these dishes are prepared for cooling & gives respite from the sultry weather. We have several raita variants made with veggies such as onion, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, carrot, spinach & fruits such as mango, pineapple & savory boondi. Raita is so famous in Indian households due to probiotic advantages of yogurt, flavor & ease of cooking.

Ingredients of Sweet Mango Raita:

  • water as required
  • 2 cup yoghurt (curd)
  • saffron as required
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cup mango

Preparing Sweet Mango Raita:

1) To begin with, drop sliced mangoes & plain yogurt in a deep vessel. Whisk them till soft. In meantime, include saffron threads to a two tablespoon of warm water & combine it till the water us colored.

2) Next, drop the saffron water to the mango paste & beat the paste till becomes gentle. When done, include the sliced mangoes in the paste & combine it well.

3) Transfer the raita to the serving bowl & serve it instantly.

Notes:

You might utilize butter rather than oil, the raita would become more tasteful. If your kids love dry fruits then you may utilize them for garnishing. In the dry fruits you could utilize, almonds, cashew nuts, raisins & pistachio.
