Seekh Kebab: A Mouth-Watering Mughlai Side Dish

Ingredients for Seekh Kebab:
  • Mutton - 1 1/2 kilograms
  • medium ginger - one
  • coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch
  • Salt - one tsp
  • chilli powder - one tsp
  • garam masala powder - 25 gm 
  • small onion - one
  • Garlic - eight cloves
  • green chilli - three
  • coriander powder - one tsp
  • vegetable oil - two tbsp
How to prepare Seekh Kebab:

Step 1) Mince the mutton. Slice onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves. Put them in a deep vessel.

Step 2) Add chilli powder, salt, roasted coriander powder, coriander leaves, garam masala powder to the minced mutton & chopped onion, coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies mixture and garlic. Combine all the ingredients properly & leave it to marinate for around six to eight hours.

Step 3) Now, apply oil on the hands. Make small round meatballs & thread each through a skewer. Flatten the ground meat into a thin layer around every skewer.

Step 4) Barbecue the kebabs on low heat of coal. Periodically turn skewers until kebab changes colour. Serve hot with dip or chutney of your preference!
